Features

Everything the discount engine can express.

Six discount types, a condition layer, three stacking modes and a scheduler. Everything below is available by hand — the assistant is a shortcut, never a requirement.

01 / Discount types

Percentage off

A percentage taken off qualifying products, a collection, or the whole cart subtotal.

What you configure
Amount1–100%, to two decimals
Applies toCart subtotal, collections, products, tags
CapOptional maximum discount in currency
Per orderOptional limit on discounted units
In practice
20% off Summer collection · max $40 per order

The cap is the usual safeguard on percentage promotions — it keeps a large cart from taking an unbounded discount.

02 / Targeting

Two questions per campaign: who qualifies, and what gets discounted.

Sconta keeps those separate on purpose. A wholesale customer can qualify a campaign while the discount lands only on full-price stock — one rule, no duplicated campaigns.

Who qualifies
Customer tags · VIP, wholesale, staff, or anything you already tag
Shopify segments · reuse a segment you've already built
Cart thresholds · subtotal, item count, or units of one product
Order history · first order only, or nth order onward
Market and currency · per-country rules on Pro
Logged-in state · account holders versus guest checkout
What gets discounted
Collections · include or exclude, any number
Products and variants · down to a single SKU
Product tags · the usual way to carve out clearance
Vendor or product type · whole-brand promotions in one rule
Whole cart · subtotal-level discounts
Shipping · by rate name or destination
03 / Stacking & priority
Mode 01

Standalone

Applies alone or not at all. If a standalone campaign wins, every other campaign steps aside. Use it for deep clearance and anything you'd never want compounded.

Mode 02

Stackable

Combines with any campaign sharing its group name, and with nothing outside it. Groups are how you say “seasonal offers stack with each other, not with bundles”.

Mode 03

Always combine

Never blocks and never gets blocked. Reserved for perks you always want honoured — free shipping thresholds, staff discounts, loyalty credits.

When two campaigns can't combine, one rule decides.

Set it once, store-wide. Sconta evaluates every legal combination and applies the winner — the same way, every time, for every cart.

01

Best value for the customer — the default. Highest total discount wins.

02

Lowest cost to you — smallest qualifying discount wins.

03

Manual priority — you order the list, first match wins.

04

Newest campaign — the most recently launched offer wins.

04 / Scheduling & reporting

Start and end dates, in your store's timezone.

Campaigns activate and expire on their own. Fixed-price promotions revert to the original price the minute they end.

Attribution per campaign.

Orders, discounted revenue and average order value, per campaign, kept for 24 months. Exportable as CSV.

A cart simulator, before launch.

Build a test cart, pick a customer, and see which campaigns fire and why — without touching your live storefront.

What Sconta deliberately doesn't do.

No upsell popups or cart drawers.

Sconta is a pricing engine. It doesn't inject widgets into your theme or compete with your conversion apps.

No AI in the checkout path.

The assistant writes configuration. Evaluation at checkout is deterministic code running on your saved rules.

No automatic changes to live campaigns.

Nothing optimises itself behind your back. Every edit is one you made and approved.
